But some junkies abuse the system.
Loyal followers, let us discuss the morally reprehensible Double Gratuity Grabber. Like a rub-and-tug recipient who requests a post-service rim job, this gluttonous greedbag wants to have his french dip slider and eat it too. Nothing enrages us more than pulling out an old receipt for a quick paper snack and realizing we added our usual $1.23 to an already included 18% treat.
Shame on you DGG. Especially knowing that we’re trying to save up for the new tinted Space Bag® collection. Next time you take candy from these babies, we’re gonna puke up our spinach-artichoke trough and double dip your face.

as a long time server, i love the double grat. If you don’t care enough to glance at the bill for your party of 10 and just hand me the check, then you won’t mind if i add gratuity in and don’t tell you about it. i like to refer to it as an “idiot tax”.
(willingly accepts punch in the face as long as it comes with a 40% tip).
Ya know, most places have the added gratuity on the menu and on host stands and the server doesn’t even put it on there it’s done automatically. And if the server does a good job they deserve the 20%. Everyone should be a server for a few months just so they can learn how crappy it is and tip like decent humans. What about punching Non-tipping Needy Customer?
Wait, so $1.23 for a $20+ meal is ok? Really? I agree that added gratuity needs to be mentioned, but a 6% tip to someone who works for slave wages is ridiculous.

That’s why they are supposed to mention the gratuity, if they don’t but still add it on, they’re greedy assholes. I’d call the establishment and report the smarmy DGG on the fly!
